This compound craft gin uses "Kuromoji,"(Linbera umbellata) twigs of spicebush grown in the mountains of Akita, as the key botanical. Japaneses white birch sweet sap is blended subtly into the spirit. Refreshing aroma of Kuromoji and gentle sweetness of birch sap represent natural blessings of the mountains of northern Akita. Of many trials, we have used recipe #65 for this product and this is where the name “No.65” comes from. Recommended to serve with soda to enhance its refreshing aroma and flavors. A part of sales is donated to funds used to plant trees for forest preservation efforts.
